 What makes this sensory weighted animal special are the three cords located both inside and outside the shell. The cords are made of organic cotton, hand-knitted, and tightly braided, so they're especially effective at stimulating the finger skin . They're especially designed for children who find greater relaxation and self-regulation by moving their fingers around, in, or through materials . Children can either let the feelers slide back and forth between their fingers or run their thumb and index finger along the tightly braided feelers.
