The topic of perception, problems with a special, different perception and autism has occupied me for 15 years now.
I've been able to acquire considerable expertise in this area, shaped by my own experiences as a mother of an autistic son (24/7, 365 days a year), through interactions with families, educators, and therapists, and through various continuing education courses and specialist literature. The development of weight animals and my professional involvement with the topic have also allowed me to delve deeper into the topic.
Now I am happy to pass on this practical knowledge so that I can contribute to creating more understanding and better conditions for those affected by perception problems, autism, ADHD and/or high sensitivity.

Lecture program – Parents’ evening
" When weight is less of a burden* – special perception in everyday family, kindergarten or school life " – especially for parents during a parents' evening.
In this lecture I will focus specifically on perception,
Using the elja® perception snail, visualize what our perception must achieve on all levels and what it means to have problems with perceptual processing . Good perception is an important foundation for the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development of our children.
I answer questions such as:
What does it mean when perception is special, particular, sensitive, different?
What are perception problems?
Why do some children hop and jump around more, especially when they have to "sit still"?
Why do some children (like to?!) push/bite themselves or others noticeably often?
Why do some children become increasingly angry out of nowhere?
How are perception and behavior related?
How can we better understand and support children with perception problems?
Why are transitions, such as picking up children from kindergarten/school, sometimes/often so difficult?
What can I do if I have problems with perceptual processing?
How can I support my child in his or her perception through play?
Duration: approx. 45 - 1 hour
Afterwards, I will be available for questions and exchange (in the group or individually)
The lecture can be held both in person and online.

"When weight is less of a burden* – Perception problems/autism in everyday school/kindergarten life" – especially for educational professionals
In this lecture I will focus on the challenges of perceptual problems/autism in everyday school/kindergarten life.
Pressure and weight impulses - dealing with tension in everyday school/kindergarten life. Supportive and regulating aids for autism and all children with very special perceptions.
Weight can reduce the burden on those affected and their caregivers and is an important additional approach, especially for people with autism, ADHD and other cognitive problems.

In this workshop, I will come to school/kindergarten for one morning (4 teaching units) with my weight animal friends, a tunnel, a cave, a sailing ship and lots of joy in accompanying the play.
I set up various movement and play stations in the gym using the existing play and exercise equipment and equipment that I have brought with me. They all have one thing in common: the promotion of movement and DEPTH PERCEPTION .
A few examples:

Relaxation and meditation journey with a weight animal to conclude
Duration: 4 teaching units (TU). Grouping is possible either according to existing groups/classes or, in kindergarten, according to age groups. Completely individualized. Supervision remains with the teaching team.
