 This is how the Beluga Healthcare weight vest works:
 Pressure and weight stimulate the skin's sensors and transmit new stimuli to the nervous system. All nerves inform the brain of this new situation. The brain then builds muscle tone in the torso, and the upper body is straightened. The brain then "takes care" of the arms, legs, hands, and feet.
 The weight is just as important as the pressure, as a more intense and memorable stimulus is perceived, similar to the pressure in the womb.

    The following applies to all weighted vests: The higher the muscle tone, the heavier the vest. The different weights and wearing times should be discussed with a doctor or therapist if possible. Wearing times should be repeated as regularly as possible. Rest periods are also important to increase the learning effect on the brain. Adjustment phases should be sensitive, caring, and in harmony with the user. Please proceed with extreme caution with people with limited self-determination skills.

    Unfortunately, vests are sometimes misunderstood as an educational tool for desperate parents or teachers.
    This is NOT correct!
    Unfortunately, the general public's knowledge of haptics and their significance has remained very poor for over 30 years.
    We fly into space and write messages on watches, but often have no idea about the connections in our bodies.

    • Therapy vests do NOT restrict freedom of movement. They are even used specifically in sports to promote fine motor skills.

    • Therapy vests are NOT a pedagogical aid, but rather an offer to the body to perceive itself.
    • Therapy vests are adjusted to the wearer's size and weight. Muscle tone plays a significant role.
    • The recommended wearing time is max. 30 minutes.
    • Our vests can be removed by the wearer at any time.
    • Since the vest is worn voluntarily, it is neither a deprivation of liberty, restraint nor bodily harm.

    • The spine is relieved as the muscles are strengthened and posture is improved.
